Does a candidate guarantee a discount?
Candidates compare official public conditions with your inputs. Issuance, logged-in eligibility and checkout acceptance are not verified. Official terms and final checkout take precedence.

A coupon code alone does not establish eligibility. Check the market and account, eligible product and collection channel, dates and limits, then confirm the actual application and final total at checkout. The Korean official conditions are not universal eligibility for every country or account.

Calculate coupon caps and minimum spending against the amount you pay
On 2026-11-01 we rechecked the Korean official guidance: up to 10% off a first hotel booking, capped at KRW 13,000, and first-flight booking tiers. These examples assume coupon eligibility and that the eligible amount equals the whole pre-discount booking total. Check whether taxes or local fees qualify and read the coupon issued to your account.

Discount D = min(B × r, C), where B is the coupon-eligible amount, r the rate and C the cap. If T is the full pre-discount total including mandatory costs, payment = T − D and effective discount = D ÷ T × 100. The table assumes B = T: for example, 260,000 − 13,000 = KRW 247,000. Do not subtract discounts or add included costs twice.
A 10% discount reaches the KRW 13,000 cap at an eligible amount of KRW 130,000. Above that, the discount does not grow in this example. Official TRIPFLIGHT26KR tiers are KRW 5,000 off at KRW 220,000 or more, and KRW 22,000 off at KRW 550,000 or more. Check the qualifying subtotal, first-booking status, search-entry route and individual expiry first.
Compare extra spending with the extra discount. Assuming eligibility, 540,000 − 5,000 = KRW 535,000. Spending another KRW 20,000 to reach 560,000 − 22,000 = KRW 538,000 increases payment by KRW 3,000. Buying something unnecessary merely to unlock a larger discount does not necessarily reduce spending.
These calculations do not verify coupon issuance, successful payment or universal eligibility. Do not assume stacking; leave unknown fees or qualifications unresolved. Even on translated pages this example concerns the Korean site and KRW. Your issued coupon and final checkout govern.

Past Trip Chance campaign: the booking period has ended
Trip Chance booking-period review: 2026-10-27 KST. The official common terms and Korean promotion overview list 2026-09-28–10-25; that published booking/promotion period has passed.
No extension was found on either page reviewed. The Trip Chance percentages below describe the past campaign, not a currently available benefit for new bookings.
Route/hotel-specific travel or stays through 2027-03-31 do not extend the booking period. Check the terms and account details separately for existing bookings or previously issued coupons.
This review covers the booking period only; other coupons, prices and card eligibility were not revalidated. Conflicting KB Kookmin Mastercard/Samsung Visa wording remains in the USD card terms; card eligibility is unconfirmed.
The past campaign advertised up to 50%, subject to membership, first-come availability and eligible products. General flight and hotel offers required KRW payment. This is not a confirmed current benefit for new bookings.
Booking dates differ from travel, stay and use dates. Check each coupon’s quantity limits, early closure, currency, minimum spend and combination rules. Even a collected coupon may be exhausted when used. The old flight offer of 20%/KRW 150,000 is no longer listed here as a verified common benefit.
The booking deadline, permitted flight or stay dates and the issued coupon’s expiry are separate conditions. A coupon may also have a validity period after issue or an expiry time. Check that all three date conditions fit the booking.
How to use a Trip.com discount code
- First, select a product: flights, hotels, car rentals, airport transfers, or tours and tickets.
- Check the conditions for new members, app-only offers, payment methods, destinations, and booking periods.
- Save the coupon to your account or enter the code during checkout.
- After applying the coupon, confirm that the total has actually decreased.
- Check whether refunds are available and review the cancellation fee before booking.
How do maximum-discount claims differ from first-booking coupons?
The up to 50% displayed in the past Trip Chance campaign was the maximum for specific destinations or travel-product promotions at that time. Separate conditions apply, such as up to 10% off for a first booking at a standard hotel. Dassago does not present the discontinued 58% regional hotel campaign as a current benefit and displays only the terms on valid official pages.
Compare the same dates, travellers, room or fare and currency. Add taxes and required extra costs to the base price, then deduct only the discount actually applied. Do not count pending Trip Coins or an unapplied coupon as a current discount.
What to check for flight discounts
- Airline and route
- Booking period and travel period
- Number of first-come, first-served coupons
- Minimum payment amount and maximum discount limit
- Payment methods such as Toss Pay, Kakao Pay, and card issuers
A discounted booking still follows the selected room, fare or product’s cancellation rules. Check the deadline and time zone, fees, no-show and partial-refund conditions, and the estimated refund before requesting cancellation. A received request is not the same as a completed refund.
What to check for hotel discounts
- Whether it is for new members only
- Prepayment or payment-at-property conditions
- Free cancellation deadline
- Total amount including taxes and service charges
- Whether the member price and coupon can be applied together
Distinguish pending Trip Coins, the available balance and the amount actually deducted for this booking. Available coins remain subject to product, payment and combination rules. After cancellation, check reward adjustments, returned coins and their expiry, which may retain the original validity period.

Frequently asked questions
Can the past Trip Chance maximum of 50% be used for every new booking now?
No. The published Trip Chance booking period has ended. Its maximum of 50% applied to selected destinations and products; it is separate from first-booking coupons. Check each hotel, car rental, airport transfer or activity coupon’s limits and conditions.
Why didn’t the price decrease after I applied the coupon?
You may not have met the conditions for new members, the app, the payment method, the minimum payment amount, eligible products, the booking period, or first-come, first-served availability.
Is an additional booking fee charged when using a Dassago link?
Dassago does not charge a separate fee. The final payment amount and any fees must be confirmed on the Trip.com payment screen.
